Tony Allen was born
in Mount Temple, Ireland, the youngest
of nine children. His family loved music
and encouraged Tony's interest in it
from a very early age. In 1968, he turned
professional, playing guitar and singing
on a national level with many well-known
Irish bands. He met Mick Foster in 1975
and they joined to form Foster & Allen.
Mick Foster was born in County Kildare
and began playing the piano accordion at
age 13. In 1964, at 17, he won the first
of three All Ireland Accordion Championships.
In 1996, the duo made their US debut with
their single "After All These Years",
and phenomenal listener response drove
continuous airplay across the country.
Their popularity has continued to flourish
and fans often travel long distances to
catch their shows as they tour the country
performing for audiences of all ages and
cultures.
Their phenomenal success and endurance
can be credited to the strength of their
friendship.
Join them for an evening
that features musical hits “One Day at a Time”, “Everything
is Beautiful”, “Amazing Grace” and
many more.
